Betty Butler

Betty Sue Butler 70 of Glasgow passed away peacefully Saturday, May 28, 2016 at her home with her family at her side. Mrs. Butler was born in Tompkinsville daughter of the late Dewey Frank and Ella Mae Kerr Froedge. She was a retired employee of Glasgow State Hospital and Member of the Cave City Baptist Church. Survivors include her husband of 52 years Isaac Butler; 3 daughters Angela Forbis husband Mark of Glasgow, Christy Peden husband Steve of Cave City, Becky Devers husband Larry of Glasgow; 2 sons John Butler wife Robin of Cummings, GA and Joe Butler of Cave City: 10 grandchildren, 13 great grandchildren: 1 sister Ella Freda Williams of Cynthiana and several nieces and nephews. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by a brother Mitchell Dale Froedge and a sister Golda Hodges. Funeral services will be held 2:00 PM Wednesday, June 1st at the A. F. Crow & Son Funeral Home with burial in the Glasgow Municipal Cemetery. Visitation will be after 2:00 PM Tuesday and Wednesday morning until time for services.
