Betty Carol Spencer

Betty Carol Spencer 75 of Glasgow, died Friday June 9, 2017 at her residence. She was born in Cumberland County the daughter of the late Mitchell Carey and Cledith Branham Carey. Mrs. Spencer was a homemaker and sat with the elderly for almost 30 years. She was a member of the Refuge Church of Christ. Survivors include her husband James C. Spencer of Glasgow; 3 sons Greg Spann (Renee) of Cave City, Brad Spencer of Glasgow and Andy Spencer (Jeny) of Glasgow; 2 daughters Karen Hagan (Richard) of Glasgow and Mitzy Ford of Glasgow; 16 grandchildren; 4 great grandchildren; 2 sisters Freda Thomason of Cave City and Deloise Moore (Greg) of Cave City; several nieces and nephews also survive. In addition to her parents she is preceded in death by a sister Doris Ann Carey and a brother Sherman Carey. Funeral services will be 2:00pm Tuesday June 13, 2017 at the A.F. Crow Funeral Home with burial in the Hiseville Cemetery. Visitation will be Tuesday from 10:00am until time for services at 2:00pm at the funeral home.
