Betty Emmitt, age 82, of Glasgow died February 2, 2023. She was born in Glasgow, KY on August 16, 1940 to the late Harry Oren Broady and Eva D. Broady (Pierce) and was raised by her adoptive parents, the late James Joseph Glover and Beryl Cook Glover. She was a retired housekeeper at T.J. Samson Hospital. Betty was a loving mother, grandmother, and great grandmother. Betty loved talking to people and she never, ever met a stranger. She is survived by her daughters, Teresa Allbright (Lawrence), and Rita Pierce (Gary); her grandchildren, Cody Allbright (fianc Kristie Wilson) and Katelyn Emberton (Cody); and great grandchildren, Kaden Pace, Arlo Emberton, Allie Emberton, and Addie Emberton. She is also survived by her neighbor and "adopted son," J.C. Smith. In addition to her parents and adoptive parents, she was preceded in death by a grandson, Ethan Pace. A graveside service will be held at 11:00am Tuesday, February 7th at the Pleasant Hill Cemetery in Randolph, KY. Visitation will be from 4:00pm until 8:00pm Monday at A.F. Crow & Son Funeral Home and Tuesday morning until time to depart for the graveside service. Alternate expressions of sympathy may be made to T.J. Samson Hospice. A.F.
