Betty Furkins

Betty Jane Furkins 61 of Antioch, TN and formerly of Glasgow died Wednesday, June 25, 2014 at the Alive Hospice Center in Nashville, TN. Born in Louisville, KY she was the daughter of the late Yancel Roscoe & Suzanne Wilcox Matthews. Mrs. Furkins was a member of the Siloam Baptist Church, a 1970 graduate of Temple Hill High School and an employee of the Tennessee Wildlife Resource Agency. Survivors include her husband Harry Furkins of Antioch, TN; a daughter Mylinda McKay & husband Ronnie of Mt. Juliet, TN; a son Jeremy Furkins of Antioch, TN; a foster-daughter Melanie Hodge & husband Jeff of Greenbrier, TN; a grandson Patrick May of Fairview, TN; a step grandson Ronnie McKay, Jr. of Mt. Juliet, TN and 2 foster-grandchildren Kylie and Zachary Hodge of Greenbrier, TN. Funeral services will be 1:00pm Saturday, June 28, 2014 at the A. F. Crow & Son Funeral Home with burial in the Happy Valley Memorial Gardens. Visitation will be after 2:00pm Friday at the funeral home.
