Betty Harwood

Betty Dee Harwood 70 of Fountain Run, KY died Thursday, September 15, 2005 at St. Thomas Hospital in Nashville, TN. Born in Monroe County, KY she was the daughter of the late Rev. Joe Riley Turner and Wealthy Witcher Turner. She was a member of the Fairview Baptist Church in Monroe County and was employed as a Social Worker in Barren County. Survivors include her husband Marion Harwood of Fountain Run, KY; 3 sons Eddie Key and wife Sherry, Danny Key and Dennis Key and wife Vickie all of Glasgow; a daughter Pam Key of Scottsville, KY; 4 step children Marion Dean Harwood of Fountain Run, KY, Steve Harwood of Glasgow, Ricky Harwood of Fountain Run and Pam Brewington of Glasgow; 13 grandchildren and several nieces & nephews. In addition to her parents she is preceded in death by a sister Dolly Thomas Simmons. Funeral services will be 2:00pm Sunday, September 18, 2005 at the Bethlehem Methodist Church with burial in the Bethlehem Cemetery. Visitation will be after 4pm Friday at the funeral home.
