Betty Joyce Emmitt

Betty Joyce Emmitt 76 of Cave City, died Thursday, November 26, 2015 at her home. She was born in Glasgow, KY the daughter of the late Garvin and Zelma Palmore Gooden. Mrs. Emmitt was a homemaker and had been a member of New Salem United Methodist Church. She is survived by 2 daughters Cheryl Page (Ricky) of Nashville, TN and Stacey Thompson (Joey) of Cub Run, KY; 1 son Joe Donald Dickson (Sheila) of Columbia, KY; 9 Grandchildren and 2 great-grandchildren. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband Chester Emmitt; a son David Dickson and a grandson. Funeral services will be 1:00 PM Wednesday, December 2nd at A. F. Crow & Son Funeral Home with burial in the New Salem Cemetery. Visitation will be Tuesday from 4pm until 8pm and Wednesday morning until time for the service.
