Betty Souther

Betty Frances 'Granny Bo' Bassham Souther 67 of Glasgow died Wednesday, August 11, 2004 at her residence. Born in Pike County, KY she was the daughter of the late George Bassham, Sr. & Mary Stapleton Bassham and wife of the late Ray Souther. Mrs. Souther was of the Baptist faith and a retired LPN at Glasgow State Nursing Facility. Survivors include 1 daughter Sherry Souther of Glasgow; niece Tammy Porter and great nephew Cameron Porter both of Antioch, TN; grandson Justin Kirkpatrick of Glasgow; God-daughter Crystal Walden of Glasgow; a sister-in-law Mary Lou Bassham of Antioch, TN; a brother James Michael Bassham of Jackson, MI; several other family and friends including caretakers Floyd & Lois Bulle of Glasgow also survive. Funeral services will be 1:00pm Saturday, August 14, 2004 at the A. F. Crow & Son Funeral Home with burial in the Evergreen Cemetery at Park City, KY. Visitation will be after 5:00pm Friday at the funeral home.
