Betty Wheat

Betty Mae Parker Wheat 60 of Glasgow died Wednesday, August 17, 2016 at Norton Hospital in Louisville, KY. Born in Hyden, KY she was the daughter of the late Joe Parker, Sr. and Myrtle Frances Fields Parker. Mrs. Wheat was a member of the New Beginnings Baptist Church. Survivors include her husband Billy Wheat, Sr. of Glasgow; 2 sons Billy Wheat, Jr. (Elizabeth) and Jason Wheat both of Glasgow; 2 daughters Jennifer Gowen (Dinky) of Sonora, KY and Heather Klumb (Jason) of Radcliff, KY; a foster-son Terry Lee Brown of Brownsville, KY; 2 brothers Henry Parker and Joe Parker, Jr. both of Scottsville, KY; 3 sisters Maggie Anderson and Helen Coots-Riggs both of Russellville, KY and Athalene Baker of Madison, TN; 17 grandchildren and several nieces and nephews. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by a brother Raleigh Parker. Funeral services will be 2:00pm Tuesday, August 23, 2016 at the A. F. Crow & Son Funeral Home with burial in the Clack-Emmitt Cemetery. Visitation will be after 1:00pm Monday at the funeral home.
