Betty Wilson

Betty Jo Wilson, 69 of Glasgow and formerly of Lexington, died Friday April 24, 2015 at the T.J. Samson Community Hospital in Glasgow. She was born in Lexington, KY the daughter of the late Robert Waits and Willie Francis Waits. Mrs. Wilson worked for over 28 years at the University of Kentucky as an Administrative Assistant. She was a member of Highland Baptist Church in Lexington, KY for 30 years and then Park City Baptist Church. Survivors include her husband Carlos Odell Wilson of Glasgow; daughter Michelle Wilson (Shawn) of Glasgow; son Robert Odell Wilson of Glasgow; 8 grandchildren Avonti McIntosh (Kyle) of Glasgow, Brittani Terry (Justin) of Tampa, FL, Makenzie Wilson, Michael Bowen, Dalton Browning, Jerah Simpson, Alex Perez and Jackie Brock (Aaron) all of Lexington, KY; 5 great grandchildren Alivia McIntosh, Kyle (KJ) McIntosh Jr. and Janay McIntosh all of Glasgow, Brandon Terry and John-Lucas Terry both of Tampa, FL; brother Cecil Francis of Versailles, KY and a sister Anna Mae Haney of Harrodsburg, KY. In addition to her parents she is preceded in death by 2 brothers Robert Waits and David Francis; 3 sisters Ella Louise Adams, Joyce Waits and Lorraine Snook and a great grandchild Shyanne Terry. Funeral services will be 12:30pm (EST) Friday May 1, 2015 at Kerr Brothers Funeral Home on Harrodsburg Rd, Lexington, KY, with burial in the Hillcrest Memorial Cemetery in Lexington, KY. Visitation will be from 4:00pm till 8:00pm Tuesday at the A.F. Crow & Son Funeral Home in Glasgow, KY and from 1:00pm till 8:00pm Thursday at Kerr Brothers Funeral Home in Lexington, KY.
