Betty Wright

Betty L. Wright 71 of Glasgow, died Sunday March 23, 2008 at the T.J. Samson Community Hospital. She was born in Barren County a daughter of the late George and Lucille Waller Madison. Mrs. Wright was a homemaker and was of the Baptist faith. She is survived by her husband Ralph J. Wright; 2 sons David 'Anthony' Lyle (Peggy) of Livingston, TN and Terry L. Burks (Alice) of Bowling Green, KY; 2 step-sons Charles J. Wright (Monisa) of Woodburn and Terrell Burks of Lafayette, TN; 4 step-daughters Juanita Cox (Allen) of Bowling Green, Bernice Green of Bowling Green, Martha Nell Thomas (Jessie) of Glasgow and Kim Pirtle (David) of Glasgow; 2 grandchildren Karen Kozac (Shane) and David Christopher Lyle; 1 great-grandson Mason Kozac; 13 step-grandchildren; 6 step great-grandchildren; 2 sisters Ima Burks (Leroyce) of Glasgow and Brenda K. Franklin (Carl) of Horse Cave and several nieces and nephews. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a husband Ernest Terrell Burks and a son Jerry Lynn Burks. Funeral services will be 2:00pm Wednesday March 26, 2008 at the A. F. Crow & Son Funeral Home with burial in the Happy Valley Memorial Gardens. Visitation will begin at 3:00pm Tuesday.
