Beverly Faye Basil

Beverly Faye Basil, 68, passed away, October 19, 2024, at University of Kentucky Medical Center in Lexington, Kentucky. She was born on May 12, 1956, in Glasgow, KY, to the late Clarence Harris and the late Nora Ollie Harris (Graham). Beverly will be fondly remembered for her warmth and love by all who knew her. She worked at DART until retirement and spent time making memories with her family.

She is survived by her three daughters, Tracey Emberton (Doug), Wendy Jolly (Larry), and Sheila Norrod (Shane). She took pride in being a doting grandmother to Shea Cook, Josh Emberton, Sam Norrod, Ashley Jolly, Paige Norrod, Tommy Jolly, and Mercades Norrod. In addition, Beverly was blessed with eight great-grandchildren who brought immense happiness into her life, Brookelynn Clark, Maddie Clark, Parker Emberton -Wolfe, Kole Cook, Grayson Emberton, Grayson Shaw, Lane Norrod, and Kaselyn Cook.

In addition to her parents, Beverly was preceded in death by the love of her life, Tommy Basil; brothers, Everett Harris and Gene Harris.

In honor of Beverly's life, Thursday, October 24th, 2024, at 2:00 pm, family and friends will gather at A.F. Crow & Son Funeral Home to pay their respects at her Funeral Service with burial in Caney Fork Cemetery. Visitation will begin Wednesday, October 23rd, 10:00 AM to 8:00 PM and Thursday morning until time for the service at the funeral home.
