Bonnie L. Duncan Sherfey 61 of Glasgow passed away Sunday November 13, 2011 at the Glasgow Health & Rehabilitation Center. She was born in Barren County, a daughter of Orbrey and Callie Saltsman Jeffries. She was retired from South Central Rural Telephone Co-op and was an active member of Calvary Baptist Church, the Joy Sunday School Class and Calvary Choir. She was also a member of the Barren County Safe Spot Board, Glasgow B&PW Club and a volunteer at Crossroads Pregnancy Center. She is survived by her husband Carlie D. Sherfey; 1 son John Edmond Duncan (Angela), a grandson Christopher Thomas Duncan and her mother Callie Saltsman Jeffries all of Glasgow; 2 step-daughters Melissa Pipkin (John) of Hendersonville, TN and Melinda Spaulding (John) of Lexington, KY; 2 step-sons Jackie Sherfey (Carolyn) of Glasgow and Ferrell Sherfey (Michelle) of Cave City; 5 step-grandchildren and 2 step great-grandchildren; 4 sisters Wanda Smith (Jim) and Linda Sue Neagle of Bowling Green, Debora Reece (Terry) of Wisdom and Regina Fancher (Dale) of Knob Lick; her mother-in-law Marie Sherfey of Glasgow; her special friend Brenda Brawner and several nieces, nephews and other family. She was preceded in death by her father Orbrey Jeffries, her first husband Thomas Edmond Duncan and his parents Aaron and Fern Duncan, a sister Marcella Pardue, a step-daughter Robin Vibbert, and her father-in-law Charlie Sherfey. Funeral services will be 2:00 PM Wednesday November 16, 2011 at the A. F. Crow & Son Funeral Home with burial in the Hays Cemetery. Visitation will begin at 3:00 PM Tuesday.
