Bonnie Lynette Taylor Williams 77 of Glasgow passed away Sunday, April 4, 2010. She was born in the Beaumont community of Metcalfe County July 22, 1932 to the late Billy and Ruie Hurt Taylor. On January 16, 1952 she married her husband of 58 years, Ben Williams, Jr. She was a mother and housewife. In 1974 she began serving as a volunteer with the Ladies Auxiliary at T.J. Samson Community Hospital and she became a Lifetime Member serving two terms as President of the Auxiliary. She attended Glasgow Wesleyan Church. She is survived by her husband Ben Williams,Jr.; two sons and daughters-in-law, Tim and Deborah Williams and Greg and Donna Williams; 2 grandsons Nick Williams and wife Brandy and Evan Williams; 1 granddaughter Christina Williams; and 2 great-granddaughters Joliene and Taylor Williams all of Scottsville; 2 sisters Patty Coffey and Shirley Peden of Glasgow; 1 brother and sister-in-law Danny and Lolly Taylor of Edmonton and several nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a daughter Lodena Williams; two brothers Freddie and Ronnie Taylor; a sister Donna Bell Taylor and her aunt Icy Holmes. Funeral services will be 1:00 PM Wednesday at the A. F. Crow & Son Funeral Home with burial in the Glasgow Municipal Cemetery. Visitation will begin at 2:00 PM on Tuesday.
