Bradley Smith

Bradley Dale Smith, 41, of Owensboro, passed away Sunday, October 4th, 2015 at Owensboro Health Regional Hospital. He was born on Wednesday, April 17th, 1974 in Hardin County, the son of the Jerry and Rita (Taylor) Smith. Bradley was a mechanical insulator and out of the Union Local 37 in Evansville, IN. He loved to play the drums, to grill & smoke BBQ, fishing and hunting. He was also a member of Welches Creek Missionary Baptist Church. Bradley is survived by his wife, Gennifer (Craddock) Smith of Owensboro; his mother, Rita Cockrel (Chris) of Bowling Green; his father, Jerry Smith (Juanita) of Caneyville; two sons, Colton Walker Starcher of Leitchfield and James Issac Smith of Owensboro; five daughters, Chelsea Craddock, Kiley Milliner, Taylor Milliner all of Leitchfield, Kourtney Milliner and Emma Jean Smith both of Owensboro; one sister, Dana Smith of Bowling Green; one step-sister, Tamara Cockrel also of Bowling Green; five grandchildren, Kennedi, Aria, Hannah, Brantley and MJ; his maternal grandparents, Joe and Gaynell Taylor of Caneyville and numerous aunts, uncles and cousins. He is preceded in death by his, step-mother, Lula Smith and his paternal grandparents, Latney and Madine Smith. Funeral services will be Wednesday, October 7th at 1:00 pm at the Dermitt-Joyce Funeral Home in Caneyville. Bro Mickey Coats and Bro Delmer Williams will be officiating. Burial will be in the Layman Memorial Cemetery.Friends may call at the Dermitt-Joyce Funeral Home in Caneyville Tuesday after 4:00 pm and Wednesday from 9:00 am until time of service.
