Brenda Anderson

Brenda McGuire Anderson 68 of Lucas and formerly of Temple Hill died Tuesday, September 2, 2014 at the T. J. Samson Community Hospital. She was the daughter of the late Mitchell and Evelyn Houchens McGuire. Her husband of 24 years was the late Malcolm Leon Anderson. Brenda was a former employee of R. R. Donnelley & Sons, Co-owner of Malcolm Anderson Custom Dozing and a homemaker. She was a member of the Poplar Springs Missionary Baptist Church. She is survived by her three daughters, Tammy Thomas (Jeff) of Glasgow, Bridget Dile (Harlan) of Lucas and Michelle Nunn (Adam) of Scottsville; one sister Betty Gosser (Isaac) of Glasgow; six grandchildren Taylor, Chase and Brylee Dile, Jordan Thomas, and Gavin and Corbin Nunn; one great-granddaughter Kenzie Grace Dile; one step-grandson Tim Thomas; two step great-grandchildren Kaylynn and Brayden Thomas; one niece Vicki Wallace (Tony); one nephew Daniel Gosser (Kaye); great nephews and nieces Brit Wallace and family, Matthew Wallace, Dannica Gosser, Betty Estes and Josh Anderson and several other family and friends. Visitation will be on Thursday, September 4th from 12:00 until 3:30 at the A. F. Crow & Son Funeral Home with graveside services to follow at 4:30 at Poplar Springs Cemetery. Alternate expressions of sympathy may take the form of memorial contributions to 'Josh's Friends'.
