Brenda Carter

Brenda Sue (Patterson) Carter, 71, of Smithfield, KY, passed away Wednesday, June 17th, 2015 at the Providence Nursing Center in New Castle, KY. She was born on September 27th, 1943 in Yeaman, the daughter of the late Walter F and Clora Dee (Young) Patterson. She was a housewife and loving mother.Brenda is survived by her husband, Roy Carter; one son, Harold Todd Carter; one daughter, Tina Lynn Chick; two grandsons, Mason Chick and Benjamin Carter; one granddaughter, Melanie Chick; two step-greandsons, Nicholas and Jordan Ross; one great-grandson, Kason Chick and three sisters, Evelyn Embry (Dalis) of Oldham County, Rita Strasburger (Johnie Blair) and Carolyn Frame (Jerry) both of Caneyville. The family has chosen cremation with a graveside service at Neafus Cemetery Sunday, June 21st at 1:00 pm CST.
