Brenda Chestnut

Brenda Sue Chestnut 55 of Glasgow, KY died Satuarday July 9, 2005 at her home. She was a Certified Nurse Assistant and was a member of the Samson St. Church of God. She is survived by her mother Lillie Mae Davis Rice; 1 son James R. Shugart of Glasgow; 3 daughters Tammy Spivey of Bowlng Green, Rebecca Owen of Lexington and Theresa Lynn of Louisville; 5 grandchildren Bruce Ray Brasel, Derrick Brasel, Kayla Brewer, Carlie Owen and Eric Owen; 6 sisters Shirley Hulse of Glsagow, Linda Netherton of Glasgow, Joann Shugart and husband Charles R. of Glasgow, Bonnie Riley of Glasgow, Peggy Bailey of Brownsville and Norma Green of Bowling Green; 2 brothers Billy Rice of Glasgow and Timmy Riley of Glasgow. Several nieces, nephews and cousins also survive. She was preceded in death by her grandmother Era Mae Davis and her husband Oliver Lane Chestnut. Funeral services will be 2:00 PM Wednesday at the A. F. Crow & Son Funeral Home with burial in the Glasgow Municipal Cemetery. Visitation will be after 1:00 PM Tuesday.
