Brenda Catherine Mercer, age 64, of Leitchfield passed away Tuesday, October 7, 2014 at the University of Louisville. She was born February 21, 1950 in Hodgenville, Kentucky the daughter of Leonard Darlin and Mary Lillian Coffey Noe. She is survived by her husband, Roger Mercer, son, David Mercer (Julie) of Leitchfield, daughters, Evonna Stewart (Tommy) of Leitchfield & Angel Hayes (Terry) of Leitchfield, brother, James Leonard Noe (Deborah) of Louisville, sister, Mary Ann Vincent (Ernie) of Breckinridge County, grandchildren, Jonathon Mercer, Christopher Stewart, Dustin Hayes, Sarah Mercer, Magan Stewart, Dalton Hayes & Emily Mercer. Funeral services will be held at 2:00 p.m., Friday, October 10, 2014 at the New Freedom Church in Sadler with Bro. Edward Cockriel officiating. Visitation will be held Thursday, October 9, 2014 after 3:00 p.m. at the church until 9:00 p.m. and Friday from 9:00 a.m. until time of service.
