Buford Bunch

Buford Samuel B.S. Bunch 75 of Glasgow died Tuesday, April 24, 2012 at T. J. Samson Community Hospital. The Barren County native was the son of the late James O. Bunch, Sr. and Lottie Wells Bunch. He was a veteran serving in the U. S. Navy and was retired from the Lyons Company in Glasgow. Mr. Bunch was a member of the Temple Hill Baptist Church. He is survived by his wife Mary Ann Smith Bunch; a daughter Cheryl Soards and husband Tony of Glasgow; 2 sons Charlie Bunch and wife Carrie of St. Louis, MO and Jeff Bunch and wife Ellen of Franklin, KY; 7 grandchildren Nick (Jamie) Soards, Ryan Soards, Nolan, Mollie, William, Lucas and Katie Bunch; 1 great grandchild Peyton Soards; a step great grandchild Lauren Stinson; 1 brother Lonnie (Mary Jane) Bunch of Glasgow; 1 sister Joyce (Atwell) Shives of Glasgow; a sister-in-law Joyce (Junior) Coulter of Glasgow; 2 brothers-in-law Robert (Etta Mae) Smith of Indianapolis, IN and Lennie (Dicie) Smith of Illinois and several nieces and nephews. In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by 2 brothers James O. Bunch, Jr. and Donald Bunch and a sister Doris Coffey. Funeral services will be 11:00 A.M. Saturday, April 28, 2012 at the A. F. Crow & Son Funeral Home. Burial with military honors provided by DAV Chapter 20 of Glasgow will be at Happy Valley Memorial Gardens. Visitation will begin at 5:00 PM Friday.
