Carisa 'Krissy' McCandless Hurt 32 of Glasgow, KY died Wednesday May 18, 2005 at the University Hospital in Louisville after a brief illness. She was born in Glasgow, KY July 30, 1972. 'Krissy' was employed as a hairdresser for the Hair Shack in Edmonton. Survivors include her son Beau Darren Hurt at home; her parents Mark and Rosemary McCandless Gassaway of Glasgow; maternal grandparents Elzie and Helen McCandless of Glasgow; Paternal grandmother Frances Gassaway of Randolph; a half sister Emily Hurt of Glasgow; 2 half brothers Doug Boatner of Steamboat Springs, CO and Neal Baotner of Phoenix City, AL; a step brother Anthony Gassaway of Edmonton and 2 uncles Ronnie McCandless and wife Patricia of Glasgow and Russell McCandless and wife Renee of Glasgow. She was preceded in death by her maternal grandmother Mary McCandless and her paternal grandfather Eugene Gassaway. Funeral services will be 1:00 PM Saturday May 21, 2005 at the A. F. Crow & Son Funeral Home with burial in the New Salem Cemetery. Visitation will be after 2:00 PM on Friday at the A. F. Crow & Son Funeral Home.
