Carl Coffey

Carl Cordell Coffey 84 of Glasgow died Friday August 22, 2008 at the T.J. Samson Community Hospital in Glasgow. Born in Metcalfe County the son of the late Willard Coffey and Pernie Hunley Coffey. Mr. Coffey married to Noxie Riddle Coffey, was a retired farmer and a member of the Siloam Baptist Church. Survivors include his wife Noxie Coffey of Glasgow; 2 daughters Janet Rigsby (Dennis) of Glasgow and Becky Matthews (Doug) of Glasgow; 4 grandchildren Garry (Kelly) Rigsby of Glasgow, Rena(Tim) Edwards of Edmonton, Lori(Kenny) Hagan of Athens, TN and Doug Matthews Jr. of Bowling Green; 6 great grandchildren Tiffany Rigsby, Katie Tanaro, Abbie Tanaro, Cassidy Edwards, Mason Edwards and Melonie Edwards;1 Brother Joe Coffey(Ruth) of Glasgow; 1 sister-in-law Wilma Coffey of Louisville. In addition to his parents he is preceded in death by a son Carl Lee Coffey and 2 brothers Harry and Malcolm Coffey. Funeral services will be 2:00pm Sunday August 24, 2008 at the A.F. Crow & Son Funeral Home with Burial in the Summer Shade Cemetery. Visitation will be after 6:00pm Saturday at the funeral home
