Carl Gibson

Carl William Gibson Sr. 82 of Glasgow died Sunday at Glenview Health Care. Mr. Gibson was born in Trenton, TN. He was a U.S. Navy Veteran and a member of The American Legion in Indianapolis and Veterans of Foreign Wars of the United States. Mr. Gibson was an owner/operator and mechanic of a Shell Service Station in Indianapolis, IN. He was a member of the Poplar Springs Baptist Church. Survivors include his wife Janie Smith Gibson of Glasgow; 2 sons Carl W. Gibson Jr. and wife Laura of Morgantown, IN and James Floyd Gibson and wife Velta of Indianapolis, IN; 1 brother Joe Gibson and wife Sherry of CA; 6 grandchildren Heather, Samantha, Scott, Jason, James & Jason. 12 great grandchildren also survive. he is preceded in death by 1 sister Ida Lou Stone. Funeral services will be 11:00am Wednesday at the A.F. Crow & Son Funeral Home with burial in the Poplar Springs Cemetery. Visitation will be after 4:00pm Tuesday at the Funeral Home.
