Carl J. Smith

Billy Carl Smith 40 of Glasgow died Saturday July 18, 2015 in Hart County. He was born in Barren County January 7, 1975, to Pauline (Smith) Davis. Billy was a strong and caring man. He attempted to help others as he could. No matter his circumstances, he paced the world with his head held high, with a smile on face. Survivors include his mother Pauline Davis of Glasgow and sister Sissy West (Jeff Compton); his niece & nephew; Aunts: Alice Hamill (Jessie), Betty Jean (Tom), Hazel Witcher (Barry) & Carla Crain (Robert); Uncles: William & Wicky Smith; Cousins: Danny Fish, Rebecca Lopez (Valentin), Crystal Doyle and a host of relatives and friends. He was preceded in death by his maternal grandparents, Wick Smith & Ruth Stevens Smith. A memorial services will be 1:00pm Friday July 31, 2015 at the Church of the Nazarene on East Main St. Visitation will be from 11:00am till 1:00pm Friday at the church. Arrangements are under the direction of the A.F. Crow & Son Funeral Home.
