Carl Matthews

Carl H. Matthews 72 of Glasgow, KY died Thursday October 15, 2009 at the Hospice of Southern KY in Bowling Green. He was born in Glasgow the son of the late Arlie Lewis Matthews and Ethel Walker Matthews. He was also preceded in death by his wife Dorothy Hughes Matthews. Mr. Matthews was a self employed well driller. Survivors include his son Carl Dewayne Matthews and wife Debbie of Tampa, FL; a step son Cecil Marty Cherry of Westmoreland, TN; a sister Patricia Dunk of Frankfort, IN; a brother Jim Matthews of Seymor, IN; 1 granddaughter, 3 step grandchildren, 1 great-grandchild; 10 step great-grandchildren and several nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by a sister Odear Rigney and 4 brothers, Robert, Roscoe, Norris and Lewis Matthews. Funeral services will be 11:00 AM Saturday October 17, 2009 at the A. F. Crow & Son Funeral Home with burial in the Caldwell Cemetery in Tennessee. Visitation will begin at 4:00 PM on Friday.
