Carmelita Helen Turner 77 of Glasgow died Tuesday November 18, 2003 at the T. J. Samson Community Hospital. She was born in Texas the daughter of the late David and Martha Belle Spillman Trank and wife of the late Kenneth Gray Turner. Mrs. Turner was a former employee of Watson's Dept. Store and was a member of the Salem Baptist Church. She is survived by 2 sons Keith Turner and wife Lora of Glasgow and Mark Turner and wife Shirley of Canmer, KY; 3 daughters Joanne Steffey and husband James of Glasgow, Karen Stice and wife Barry of Brownsville and Diane Turner of Glasgow; 2 sisters Margie Dodd and husband Robert of Bowling Green and Judy Coffman and husband Joe of Scottsville. 15 grandchildren and 13 great grandchildren also survive. A brother David Trank preceded her in death. Funeral services will be 2pm Thursday November 20th at the A. F. Crow & Son Funeral Home with burial in the Glasgow Municipal Cemetery. Visitation will be after 3:30pm Wednesday at the funeral home.
