Carroll Harper

Carroll J. 'Buddy' Harper 73 of Glasgow, died Monday, October 24, 2011 at the Medical Center in Bowling Green. Born in Metcalfe County he was the son of the late Robert and Winnie Smith Harper and a self-employed furniture maker. Mr Harper attended Glasgow Wesleyan Church. Survivors include his wife Carolyn; 1 son Roddy L. Harper wife Nancy of Glasgow; 4 grandchildren Jason Harper wife Sarah, Megan Pennington husband Todd, Rex Harrison wife Cristal, Andrea Hardin husband Joe; 9 great grandchildren; 2 brothers Wayne Harper wife Vivian, Raymond Harper wife Brenda both of Glasgow; 1 sister Maxine Ogles husband William of Glasgow. Numerous nieces, nephews and cousins also survive. In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by 1 sister Lois Whitley and husband Clifton. Funeral services for Mr. Harper will be held 2 PM Thursday, October 27, 2011 at the A. F. Crow & Son Funeral Home with burial in the Hiseville Cemetery. Visitation will be after 3PM Wednesday at the funeral home.
