Carroll Stilts

Carroll Clayton Stilts 94 of Cave City, died Friday, November 27, 2015 at Hart County Health Care. He was born in Cave City, the son of the late John William and Sarah Smith Stilts. Mr. Stilts served in the U.S. Army during WWII and was retired from Houchens Markets where he was a former produce manager. He was a member of the Cave City Baptist Church and served as a deacon. Survivors include his daughter Carolyn Payne and husband William Donald Payne of Ellison Bay, WI; a grandson Austin Payne of Ellison Bay, WI and several nieces and nephews. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife Mary Alma Martin Stilts and a son Carroll Stilts, Jr. Funeral services will be 10:00 AM Wednesday, December 2nd at the A. F. Crow & Son Funeral Home with burial in the Cave City Cemetery. Visitation will be Tuesday from 4:00 until 7:00 at the funeral home.
