Carson Crabtree

Dr. Carson E. Crabtree, 89, of Greensboro, North Carolina, passed away on Tuesday, November 4, 2014. He was born in Lafayette, Tennessee on May 17, 1925 to the late Garrett Otis and Chloe Belle McDonald Crabtree. He was also preceded in death by a brother, Dr. Clovis A. Crabtree. Dr. Crabtree was a graduate of the University of Tennessee Medical School and practiced medicine for over 35 years in Buffalo, Kentucky and Louisville, Kentucky. He was a member of Guilford Park Presbyterian Church in Greensboro, NC. He is survived by his loving wife of 65 years, Lois Bunch Crabtree, one son, Joe C. Crabtree and wife, Tammy of Summerfield, NC, two granddaughters, Katie Crabtree Scott and husband, Adam of Knoxville, Tennessee, and Brittney Crabtree of Charlotte, North Carolina; one brother, Dr. Ken R. Crabtree and wife, Shirley of Gamaliel, Ky., sisters in law Gayle Berry and husband, Danny, Patsy Bunch, Mildred Bunch and many special nieces and nephews. The family will receive friends on Saturday, November 15, 2014 from 11:00-1:00 CST at the A. F. Crow and Son Funeral Home with a memorial service to follow at 1:00 P.M. Burial will be in the Neals Chapel Cemetery.
