Catherine Guffey

Cathy Heider Guffey 46, wife of Jim Guffey and mother of Jeremiah, Glasgow died at her residence in Glasgow on Saturday, August 6, 2005. Cathy was born in Las Vegas, Nevada February 5, 1959. She was graduated from Middleton High 'school, Charleston, SC and received her BS-N from Medical University of South Carolina. She had worked at the Rosewood Health Care facility in Bowling Green, KY. In addition to her husband and son Cathy is survived by her parents James & Carolyn Heider of Charleston, SC; 2 brothers Mike Heider & wife Gwen of Clermont, FL and Ken Heider & wife Eileen, a niece Kendall and nephew Kyle all of Charleston, SC; other survivors include her In-Laws James & Betty Guffey of Glasgow plus numerous uncles, aunts and cousins. Cathy is preceded in death by her grandparents Jimmy & Elsie Heider and Lawrence & Carrie Redmond. A Catholic burial Mass will be 11:00am Tuesday, August 9, 2005 at St. Helen's Catholic Church in Glasgow with interment in the Glasgow Municipal Cemetery. Visitation will be Monday, August 8, 2005 after 6:30pm at the A. F. Crow & Son Funeral Home in Glasgow, KY. There will be a Rosary service at 7:00pm Monday at the funeral home.
