Cecil Burris

Cecil A. Burris, 77 of Glasgow died Saturday, March 12, 2016 at the Signature Health Care Facility in Glasgow. He was born in Metcalfe County the son of the late George William Burris and Annie Lee England Burris. Mr. Burris worked for many years at Pace Concrete products and was a member of Slick Rock Baptist Church. Survivors include 1 sister, Faye Hoover (James) of Glasgow; 1 brother, James Burris (Barbara) of Glasgow and several nieces and nephews. In addition to his parents he is preceded in death by his wife Margaret Burris; 1 sister, Georgia Ellen Firkin and 1brother Herman Burris. Funeral services will be 1:00pm Tuesday at the A.F. Crow & Son Funeral Home with burial in the Happy Valley Memorial Gardens. Visitation will be after 4:00pm Monday at the funeral home.
