Charlene Higdon

Charlene Higdon, age 53 of Clarkson passed away Friday, November 14, 2014, at the Hosparus Inpatient Care Center in Louisville. She was born November 21, 1960 in Grayson County, KY the daughter of Charles Damon Stinnett & Nellie Cockriel-Stinnett. She is survived by her husband, Omer Higdon of Clarkson, one son, Billy Joe Higdon of Leitchfield (Valerie Parker), one brother, Charlie Stinnett (Jennie) of Bardstown, two sisters-in-law, Tammy Clark of McDaniels & Linda Higdon of Big Clifty, one brother-in-law, Willie Higdon of Big Clifty, and several nieces & nephews. She was loved by lots of friends and family. Funeral services will be held at 12 noon, Tuesday (Nov. 18) at the Watson & Hunt Funeral Chapel in Leitchfield. Visitation will be held after 1:00 p.m., Monday and from 9:00 a.m. until service time on Tuesday at the funeral home. In lieu of flowers, expressions of sympathy can be made in the form of donations to help with the funeral expenses.
