Charles Horton

Charles E. Horton 63 of Glasgow died Monday, October 21, 2013 at the V.A. Hospital in Louisville. He was born in Barren County the son of the late Charley and Edna Bowles Horton. Charles was a farmer and a U. S. Army Veteran of the Vietnam War. He attended the Seventh Day Adventist Church. He is survived by a son Chuck Horton and wife Amy Marie of Smiths Grove; 6 grandchildren Chloe, Andrew, Daniel, Sammy, Jacob and Cassie Horton; 2 sisters Betty Wallace and husband Keith of Glasgow and Freda Hampton and husband Earl Mason of Louisville. Several nieces and nephews also survive. In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by a son Kendon Louis Horton and a brother Sammy Horton. Funeral services will be 11am Thursday, October 24th at the A. F. Crow & Son Funeral Home with burial in the Bowles Family Cemetery. Visitation will begin at 5pm Wednesday.
