Charles Larry "Murph" Murphy

Charles Larry 'Murph' Murphy 63 of Glasgow died Friday, March 13, 2015 at T. J. Samson Community Hospital. He was born at New Design, KY near Fountain Run, the son of the late Carl L. and Alyne Linville Murphy. He was 1969 graduate of Gamaliel High School. Larry was retired from R. R. Donnelley & Sons, was a member of the Calvary Baptist Church and had been active in the Glasgow Little League program for many years. He loved golf and was an avid UK fan. He is survived by his wife Rebecca Murray Murphy; 2 sons Steven Murphy (Regina) and Johnathan Murphy (Kasey) both of Glasgow; 5 grandchildren Griffin, Taylor, Karly Kate, Caroline and Will Thomas Murphy; 1 sister Sue Matthews (Jim) of Smiths Grove; a niece Tammy Hawks (Rick) of Gallatin, TN and a nephew Mark Matthews (Kathy) of Jacksonville, AL. Funeral services will be 3pm Sunday, March 15th at the A. F. Crow & Son Funeral Home with burial in the Glasgow Municipal Cemetery. Visitation will begin at 3pm Saturday.
