Charles Short

Charles Madison Short 78 of Glasgow died Saturday April 5, 2008 at his home. Born in Barren County the son of the late Charles Matthew Short and Lillian Sturgeon Short. Mr. Short was a Farmer and a retired employee for the State of Kentucky as a Light Equipment Operator. Survivors include 2 daughters Charlene Reece (Danny) of Glasgow and Betty Jo Short of Scottsville: 2 sons Charles Madison Short Jr. (Lori) of Glasgow and Joseph Payton Short of Scottsville: 3 Sisters Mildred Cooksey of Tracy, Earlene Jordan of Ft.Run and Ailene Pedigo of Bowling Green: 5 grandchildren and 3 great grandchildren also survive. In addition to his parents he is preceded in death by 3 sisters Lucille Duvall, Dixie Mae Short and Willia Mae Short; 2 brothers Hubert Short and Woodrow Short. Graveside services will be 2:00pm Monday April 7, 2008 at the Glasgow Municipal Cemetery. Visitation will be after 11:00am Monday April 7, 2008 at the A.F. Crow & Son Funeral Home.
