Charles Teague

Charles R. Teague, 86, of Louisville, passed away Monday, November 4th, 2013 at the Jewish Hospital in Louisville, KY. He was born on June 1st, 1927 in Webb City, Missouri, the son of the late William and Julia (Kelso) Teague. Charles was a retired painter. He served in the United States Army and received the Good Conduct Medal and the National Defense Service Medal. Charles is survived by his 2 sons, Charles Robert Teague of Louisville and David Teague of California; 3 daughters, Trese Slusser of Mt. Washington, Charlette Peak of Crestwood and Carol Dyer of Georgia; his sister-in-law, Helen King of Louisville and several grand and great grandchildren. Other than his parents, he is preceded in death by his wife, Marcella; two step sons, Wayne and Randy Miller and a brother, Chester Teague. The family has chosen cremation with a private service to be held at a later date.
