Charles Young

Charles Tommy Young 59 of Glasgow died Tuesday, July 23, 2013 at the Monroe County Medical Center in Tompkinsville, KY. Born in Barren Co. he was the son of the late Edd & Iva Emmitt Young. Mr. Young was a farmer in Barren County. Survivors include a daughter Ashley Young of Glasgow; 2 sisters Barbara Hiser of Tompkinsville and Juanita Shirley & husband Randal of Scottsville, KY; a brother Donald Young of Mt. Herman; several nieces, nephews and cousins. In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by a sister Lucille Kingrey and 3 brothers Robert Jewell Young, Carl 'Pap' Young and James William Young. Funeral services will be 11:00am Friday, July 26, 2013 at the A. F. Crow & Son Funeral Home with burial in the Clack-Emmitt Cemetery. Visitation will be after 1:00pm Thursday at the funeral home.
