Charlotte Jean Tibbs

Charlotte Jean Tibbs, 78, of Glasgow, passed away Sunday September 11, 2022, at the Barren County Nursing & Rehab facility. She was born in Glasgow on May 2, 1944, to the late Roma Britt and the late Gladys Jones Britt. Mrs. Tibbs was a homemaker and was of the Baptist faith. She will be missed and was loved by all that knew her. Survivors include three sons, Tim Shipley (Betsy) of Glasgow, Roger Tibbs (Teresa) of Las Vegas, NV, and Robert Tibbs (Lisa) of Smiths Grove, KY; nine grandchildren, Wesley Shipley (Chasity), Matthew Shipley (Lindsey), Jared Houchens (Cortney), Melissa Rodriguez, John Tibbs, Jacob Tibbs, Jania Tibbs, Melanie Hayden (David), and Ashley Hamilton (Kevin); 11 great grandchild; one sister, Mary Jewell (Stanley). In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her husband, Roger D. Tibbs, and a step grandchild, Sarah Beth Houchens. Funeral service will be held 2:00pm Thursday, September 15th at the A.F. Crow & Son Funeral Home with burial in the Old Zion Cemetery. Visitation will be on Wednesday from 5:00pm until 8:00pm and on Thursday morning until time for services at the funeral home. A.F.
