Christine Steffey

Christine Reeves Steffey 93 of Glasgow, KY died Tuesday July 20, 2004 at the NHC Health Care Facility in Glasgow. She was born in Barren County, KY the daughter of the late Elbert and Flora Bailey Reeves and wife of the late Walter Lee Steffey. Mrs. Steffey was a homemaker, an avid gardener and was a member of the Beech Grove Baptist Church. She is survived by 2 sons John E. Steffey of Glasgow and Junior Furlong of Bon Ayr; 12 grandchildren, 26 great grandchildren and 13 great great grandchildren. In addition to her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by a son Marvin Furlong, 2 daughters Mildred Perkins and Dorothy O'Bannion and 5 sisters Edna Rogers, Clara Baldwin, Ruth Glass, Elizabeth Bishop and Laverne Head. Funeral services will be 10:00am Thursday July 22, 2004 at the A. F. Crow & Son Funeral Home with burial in the Glasgow Municipal Cemetery. Visitation will be after 2pm Wednesday at the A. F. Crow & Son Funeral Home.
