Christine Stephens

Christine Marie Grider Stephens 80 of Glasgow died Wednesday February 10, 2010 at T. J. Samson Community Hospital. She was born in Glasgow the daughter of the late Henry Owen Grider and Mamie McGuire Grider. Mrs. Stephens was retired after 27 years from the Mallory Capacitor Corp and was a Baptist. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband John Douglas Stephens and a brother Henry Owen Grider, Jr. Survivors include 3 sons, Philip Stephens and wife Janet of Bowling Green, Anthony Stephens and wife Sharon of Glasgow and Gary Stephens and wife Cheryl of Glasgow; 2 daughters Cheryl Stephens of Glasgow and Janna Gosnell and husband Allen of Glasgow; 9 grandchildren; 8 great-grandchildren and 1 great-great-grandchild. She is also survived by a niece and nephew Leslie and Nicholas Grider of Milwaukee, Wis. Funeral services will be 3:00 PM Saturday February 13, 2010 at the A. F. Crow & Son Funeral Home with burial in the Glasgow Municipal Cemetery. Visitation will begin at 2:00 PM Friday at the funeral home.
