Clara Spillman

Christine Spillman 89 of Glasgow died Friday, February 19, 2010 at the Hospice Center in Bowling Green. She was born in Barren County the daughter of the late Wiley and Myrtie Davis Harvey. Mrs. Spillman was a homemaker and a member of Rolling Hills Baptist Church. Survivors include 2 daughters Bonnie Pursley and Judith Lohden both of Glasgow; a son Melvin Spillman of Glasgow; 7 grandchildren Marla Pursley Thompson, Cynthia Spillman, Justin Pursley, Dewayne Spillman, Dana Lohden Thomas, Chasity Lohden Young and Melvin Cody Spillman; 7 great grandchildren, 1 great great grandchild; 2 brothers Melvin Garnett Harvey and Harold Harvey of Glasgow; a sister Lois Borders of Glasgow and several nieces and nephews. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband, James Earl Spillman, a son Maxey Spillman, a daughter Geneva Spillman, a sister Katherine Terry and a brother Raymond Harvey. Funeral services will be 2:00 PM Sunday, February 21, 2010 at the A. F. Crow & Son Funeral Home with burial in the Buckley Cemetery. Visitation will begin at 2:00 PM Saturday.
