Clarence Ballard

C. B. Ballard 66 of Glasgow died Thursday, March 10, 2016 at the University of Louisville Hospital. Born in Knob Lick, KY, he was the son of the late Clarence Mody Ballard and Mary Byrd Ballard of Glasgow who survives. Mr. Ballard was a self-employed truck driver and was a U. S. Army veteran of the Vietnam War. In addition to his mother he is survived by his wife Billy Sue Ballard; 2 sons Emmitt Eugene Ballard (Melanie) of Glasgow and Michael Ballard (Jamie) of Edmonton; 5 grandchildren Maggie, Vanessa, Chris, Jacob and Maddie Ballard; 2 brothers Larry Lee Ballard and William Earl Ballard (Pauline) both of Glasgow; 1 sister Ellen Katherine Wood (Greg) of Glasgow; and several nieces, nephews and cousins, lots of whom called him Pa. Funeral services will be 4:00 PM Sunday, March 13th at A. F. Crow & Son Funeral Home. Visitation will begin at 5:00pm Saturday. Entombment will be at Glasgow Municipal Cemetery at a later date.
