Clarence "C.G." Morrison

Rev. C. G. Morrison 87 of Bowling Green, KY died Friday, December 26, 2014 at the Greenview Regional Hospital. Born in Barren Co. he was the son of the late Clarence George Morrison, Sr. and Maggie Nora Goodman Morrison. Rev. Morrison was a veteran of World War II serving in the U. S. Navy. He was a member of the Eastwood Baptist Church in Bowling Green, KY and a former pastor of numerous churches in Barren, Adair and Monroe County. Survivors include his wife Marcella Garrett Morrison of Bowling Green, KY; two sons Phillip Morrison & wife Rena' of Brentwood, TN and Keith Dewayne Morrison & wife Stacey of Bowling Green, KY; five grandchildren Justin, Allie, Lauren, Ben and Carrie Morrison; two sisters Shirley Bacon of Glasgow and Jocile Wright of Louisville, KY; five nephews and a niece. In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by a brother Robert Wilson Morrison and a sister Anna Jewell Clark. Funeral services will be 1:00pm Monday, December 29, 2014 at the A. F. Crow & Son Funeral Home with burial in the Glasgow Municipal Cemetery. Visitation will be on Sunday from 4:00pm until 8:00pm and continue on Monday until time for the service at the funeral home.
