Clarine Smith

Clarine Miller Smith 72 of Glasgow went home to be with the Lord Wednesday, May 8, 2013. She was born July 11, 1940 in Glasgow, the daughter of the late George and Dissie Walden Miller. She was a loving wife, mom, mother-in-law, grandma and great-grandma. 'We were blessed to have her in our lives. She was loved by many'. Mrs. Smith was a member of Gethsemane Baptist Church. She is survived by her daughter and son-in-law Carol and Darrell Hill of Glasgow; 3 granddaughters Candace Hill and Nakita Saltsman both of Glasgow, and Carmen McVane of Wisconsin; 2 grandsons Danny and Aaron Smith of Wisconsin; 13 great-grandchildren all of Wisconsin; 2 brothers Jay Harold Miller and Ernest Miller both of Glasgow; 2 uncles Rev. Earl Miller of Glasgow and Kenneth Miller of Indiana and several nieces and nephews. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband of 44 years Aaron E. Smith, a step-son Danny Smith and two brothers Johnny and James Miller. Funeral services will be 3pm Saturday, May 11th at the A. F. Crow & Son Funeral Home with burial in the Glasgow Municipal Cemetery. Visitation will begin at 4pm Friday.
