Clarine Witty

Clarine 'Sis' Witty, 74 of Glasgow, died Wednesday Sept. 20, 2006 at her home. She was born in Barren County the daughter of the late Fred and Iva Lee Sharp Duvall. Mrs. Witty was preceded in death by her husband James Robert 'Bobby' Witty in June of this year. She was the former manager of the E. B. Terry and South Green St. Elementary School Lunchrooms and she was a member of the First Christian Church. Survivors include 1 daughter Phyllis J. Witty of Glasgow; 1 son Robert Allen Witty of Glasgow; 2 grandsons Spencer Allen Witty and Steven Ray Witty of Glasgow; 3 brothers Carl, James and Ralph Duvall all of Glasgow; a sister-in-law Dorothy Burks of Indianapolis, IN and several nieces and nephews. In addition to her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by 4 brothers Earl, Paul, Roy and Robert Duvall and a sister Dorothy Shipley. Funeral services will be 11:00am Friday Sept. 22, 2006 at the A. F. Crow & Son Funeral Home with burial in the Glasgow Municipal Cemetery. Visitation will be after 3:00pm Thursday at the funeral home.
