Clifton Richard Wilkerson

Clifton Richard Wilkerson 71 of Lucas, KY died Thursday, September 26, 2013 at Norton Hospital in Louisville. The Barren County native was a son of the late Finis and Lou Birdia Carver Wilkerson. Clifton was retired from the Barren River State Park, was a school bus driver for Barren County schools and an avid fox hunter. He was a member of Mt. Olivet Baptist Church. Survivors include his wife Sandy Settle Wilkerson; a daughter Kerry Zalla and husband Brett of Scottsville; a step-daughter Tracy Goodman of Lexington; 2 grandchildren Lucy and Lincoln Zalla; 4 brothers James H. Wilkerson of Glasgow, Orville J. Wilkerson and wife Joyce of Glasgow, Donald R. Wilkerson and wife Wanda of Lucas, Michael L. Wilkerson and wife Maggie of Frankfort; 4 sisters Lou Jean Jewell and husband Harry of Lucas, Evelyn Billingsley and husband Ray, Jan Groce and husband Bobby and Sandy Lindsey all of Glasgow, and several nieces and nephews. In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by a daughter Kelly Wilkerson and a sister-in-law Betty Wilkerson. Funeral services will be 2pm Sunday, September 29th at the A. F. Crow & Son Funeral Home with burial in the Glasgow Municipal Cemetery. Visitation will be 4pm until 8pm Saturday and Sunday morning from 8am until time for the service.
