Clifton Williams

Clifton Richards 'Shorty' Williams 78 of Lucas died Sunday November 30, 2008 at the Caverna Memorial Hospital. He was born in Barren County the son of the late Porter T. and Willie Maude Broady Williams. Clifton was a life long farmer and took a special interest in raising, training and working mules and horses. He is survived by his wife Norma Glass Williams; a daughter Cherry Williams of Nashville, TN; 2 sons Ricky Glass and Dennis Glass both of Glasgow; 3 grandsons Jason Glass, Cory Glass and Seth Glass; a great grandson Harley Glass; 2 brothers Joe Williams (Edna Helen) of Glasgow and John Williams of Arkansas and his many special friends and neighbors. He was preceded in death by a brother Robert Williams and a sister Imogene Lewis. Funeral services will be 2:00pm Wednesday December 3, 2008 at the A. F. Crow & Son Funeral Home with burial in the Glasgow Municipal Cemetery. Visitation will begin at 11:00am on Tuesday.
