Clyde Anderson

Clyde R. Anderson 83 of Glasgow died Friday April 18, 2008 at the T. J. Samson Community Hospital. He was born in Barren County the son of the late J. Malcolm and Nettye Bridges Anderson. Mr. Anderson was a self employed CPA and was the former Director for the Ky. Dept. of Revenue Field Division from 1968 through 1978. He was a former employee of the National Park Concessions from 1980-1992 and was currently serving as a member of their board of directors, a position he has held since 1964. He was a U.S. Army Veteran of WWII and attended the Calvary Baptist Church. He is survived by his wife Jackie Ford Anderson; 1 daughter Jenny Lou Murphy (Rodney) of Frankfort, KY; 2 sons Jeffrey and Scott Anderson both of Louisville, KY and 7 grandchildren, Ryan Murphy, Jordan Anderson, Jessica Penix, Matthew Anderson, Zachary Anderson, Mitchell Anderson and Brandon Anderson. Funeral services will be 11:00am Monday April 21, 2008 at the A. F. Crow & Son Funeral Home with burial in the Beech Grove Cemetery. Visitation will be after 4:00pm Sunday. Alternate expressions of sympathy may take the form of memorial contributions to the American Cancer Society or the National Parkinson Foundation, Inc., Office of Development, 1501 NW 9th Ave./Bob Hope Rd., Miami, FL 33136-1494.
