Clyde William Hensley 89 of Edmonton, KY died Wednesday, May 18, 2011 at the Medical Center at Bowling Green. He was born in Nashville, TN the son of Clyde and Willie Mae Richardson. Mr. Hensley was a self employed oil well driller and was a U.S. Army Veteran of WWII. He was a member of the South Edmonton Church of Christ. He is survived by his wife Mary Nell; 3 daughters, Loretta Glass (Steve) of Knob Lick, Connie Vernon (Randy) of Maysville and Karen Garrison (Marc) of Hilton Head, SC; 1 sister Mary Evelyn Glass of Shepherdsville, KY; 1 sister-in-law Ollie Mae Richardson of Edmonton; 12 grandchildren Kevin, Wendi, Lindsay, Tammi, Wesley, Courtney, Jeremy, Jonathan, Stevie, Jeanna, Ray and Ben; 10 great grandchildren Tyler, Kyle, Jordan, Grant, Adam, Levi, Tyler, Maddox, Sheree & Madelyn; 2 step great-grandchildren Michael & Samantha and 4 step great-great-grandchildren Addison, Jordan, Emma and Naomi. He was preceded in death by a daughter Donnie Carol Gardner, an infant sister, 2 brothers Albert Lawrence Richardson and Paul Silas Richardson; a sister-in-law Doloies Richardson and a brother-in-law Lynn Glass. Funeral services will be 1:00 PM Saturday, May 21, 2011 at the A. F. Crow & Son Funeral Home. Burial will be in the Happy Valley Memorial Gardens with full Military honors provided by D.A.V. Chapter 20 of Glasgow. Visitation will begin at 4:30pm Friday.
