Concella Green

Concella Green 77 of Louisville and formally of Glasgow died Monday November 17, 2008 at the Norton Audubon Hospital in Louisville. Born in Barren County the daughter of the late George P. and Magnolia Jones Green. Mrs. Green was employed with the American Tobacco Company for 17 years and was an assembly line worker for General Electric Company for 26 years. She was a member of General Electric Local Union # 761. Survivors include 2 sons Kenny Green Jenkins & Raymond Douglas Kerney (Karen) both of Fairdale, Ky; 7 grandchildren Shane & Amaya Baxter of Louisville, Cory Jesse, Gina Jenkins, Eric Kerney, Cassie Kerney & Nick Kerney all of Fairdale, Ky; 2 great grandchildren Justin Thomas Kerney & Zackery Paul Jones both of Fairdale, Ky; several nieces & nephews also survive. In addition to her parents she is preceded in death by 2 brothers Chris & Jim Green and 1 sister Ozetta Jones. Funeral services will be 1:00pm Friday November 21, 2008 at the A.F. Crow & Son Funeral Home with burial in the Green Family Cemetery in Glasgow. Visitation will be after 11:00am Thursday at the funeral home.
