Cope Loretta Furlong

C. Loretta Furlong 82 of Park City, KY died Thursday, December 5, 2013 at the Barren Co. Health Care Facility. Born in Barren Co. she was the daughter of the late Rev. Roy Lee Britt and Sammie Lee Gray Britt and wife of the late Frank W. Furlong, Jr. Mrs. Furlong was a member of the Old Zion United Methodist Church where she was active in the Ladies Circle; she was also a member of the T. J. Samson Hospital Samsonite's. Survivors include a son Doug Furlong and wife Pauletta of Park City, KY; a son-in-law Howard Bowman, Jr. of Park City, KY; 4 grandchildren Brad Furlong & wife Kellie, Kim Gibson & husband Keith, Stephanie Payne & husband Kevin and Jason Bowman & wife Sarah; 5 great grandchildren Austin Furlong, Cameron Furlong, Kaleigh Gibson, Victor Payne and Abagail Bowman; a sister Mary Edith Perkins of Glasgow and 2 caregivers Jerimie Peden of Park City and Janet Dobson of Glasgow. In addition to her parents and husband she was preceded in death by a daughter Vickie Bowman. Funeral services will be 1:00pm Monday, December 9, 2013 at the A. F. Crow & Son Funeral Home with burial in the Old Zion Cemetery. Visitation will be after 3:00pm Sunday at the funeral home.
